Sam Rayburn is known as one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country because it’s one of the best bass fishing lakes in the nation year in and year out. Wade Middleton first fished this lake in the late 1990’s and he’s not missed a year bass fishing since then. On this trip to the famous body of water was filmed during the late winter as the fish are approaching the pre-spawn period and as he arrives at the lake he’s met by a strong storm passing the area. Once it clears the area Wade launches and find the bass feeding up as warming temperatures and storms move through the area. Watch as Wade capitalizes on this ideal feeding time, catching fish on various both lipless crankbaits and jerkbaits as he fishes near the Blackforest and Harvey Creek areas.
